Three stars is the highest I can give chains, I do make exceptions. This Outback is great, servers are super friendly, foods is consistent and in a pinch when I can't get to my favorite steak place their ribeye is great. I eat my steak Pittsburgh rare and they know how to cook it.

Outback is great! Can't until tomorrow to go and get my free coconut shrimp thanks to the big 10 win with Wisconsin Badgers. 34 to 31. Go Badgers. Remember you all can get a free appetizer of coconut shrimp on January 2 at any Outback.

Happy Hour drinks are a good bargin at $4 I found out you can still get the fried mushrooms even tho they are not on menu! Typical chain resturant, good food and consistent.

If you want great amazing service. Request Kelly!! Best waitress in there. We came here on our way from Clearwater Florida to Orlando and it was a really nice experience. The food was good. It came fast, no waiting for long. It was a pleasure meeting you Kelly!! You rock!! Your new friends from NY lol

Great place right off the freeway to get a carry out on the way home. Check your order though they have tendency to forget things like side of ranch honey mustard etc.

I was on my way to Orlando and decided to stop here for a couple of beers and a bite to eat. I came here in the late afternoon and it was totally dead. Maybe 5-6 tables occupied. I sat at the bar and waited at least 15 minutes to be acknowledged, let alone served a drink. I ordered my beer then had to wait another 10-15 minutes to order my food. I ordered chicken fingers, which I've had at other Outbacks and they were amazing, but these were far from amazing. They were dry and tasted like chemicals. The fries were way over-salted too. To summarize - horrible service, bad food buyers, and bad cooks. I knew I should've went to Carrabba's next door. Live and learn.

This is a restaurant when I travel and having coworker or boss with me. Chain restaurant is an easy obvious choice for the agreement of the selection. We were here for lunch and it is Wednesday. Wednesday in any outback have special in their menu. I have tried their $12 three course menu. The first course is the Caesar salad. The lettuce is fresh and crispy. My entree is the glaze grilled pork tenderloin with a size. I have chosen the grilled asparagus as my side and I have added an up charge item shrimp in the Barbie. The pork was grilled wonderfully with tender meat. Each cut of the pork has preserved their juice in each piece. The shrimp is grilled and maintain the size of the shrimp. Seasoning is well prepared in this case. The tomatoes are cut to half and well cook for mouth watering enjoyment. The asparagus is not dry after grilling. Good technique. The third course is the carrot cake. The sweetness is well mix that not loses the ingredient taste of the carrot. This is the restaurant that I have repeated when I am go to Bartow or Orlando and need the meal before meeting. Wednesday is always the best day since they have good deal for the three courses or four courses.

Ordered curbside take out. I asked for my wings crispy and they were soggy. I ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and didn't receive my wedge of lime or tortilla strips. And the guy wasn't going to give me the drink that came with the kids meal. Sorry service. Gross food. Never again. I will drive to Lakeland Outback before I spend my money here!

My favorite - the Seared Peppered Ahi on a bed of Asian slaw - seemed smaller this time. Still delicious, though. The slaw had too much soy-ginger sauce but I still ate the whole thing! I also had the carrot cake with black coffee.

Slow wait staff. Slow for initial order, bring drink, app, entree, bill,..etc Adjacent tables cluttered with dirty dishes through almost entire meal,... staff just walking by with no interest to clear. Dark atmosphere in desperate need of update. I asked for steak medium,...I got medium raw. UGH,...steak blood running into my mash potatoes. Needless to say, I did not eat. Would not return again.

Ate at your restaurant at exit 19 on I-4 (Plant City) on Sat 4/19/14.. Couldn't have been more disappointed! a 9 oz glass of house wine was prominently displayed on the menu at $4.00. This is a Happy Hour 3-6 offering. The actual available wine was $6.00 and 6 oz. DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. BAIT AND SWITCH. SHAME ON OUTBACK! we ordered 6 oz filets which ended up costing $20.00 each. NO VALUE. Mine had a little gristle - should be none. My companions was seasoned so heavily she could not eat it and sent it back. Her filet was 1/2" thick - not a filet! Also, the Caesar salads had so much pepper my companion sent her's back - I ate mine. In summary then, Outback operates on a BAIT AND SWITCH policy with POOR QUALITY and MINIMUM VALUE. I am most disappointed and won't be returning...

I feel bad for the staff that actually works hard here but this place was super filthy. The floors were so dirty that they were slippery. The bathrooms were disgusting with garbage overflowing. There were utensils under tables as well as food. How sad that standards have gone down at this chain. The food was good and our waitress got a nice tip. She was the best part of our visit.

I love Outback with the exception of plant city, dinning in is okay but takeout is either wrong all together or gross I've had their takeout at least 50-75 times with it being not good or incorrect probably 70% of the time I finally stopped going( shame on me for it taking so long I know) but I got a gift card for Christmas and my wife didn't feel like cooking so I ordered my wife pasta which had hair in it and my med steak was raw at least I was able to finish cooking mine when I got home. Never had a problem eating in there just don't waste your time with take out

I love outback and our server was great. However the food taste was not that good. Steak was bland with little taste and very tough considering we wanted medium. We wanted a add a side of Mac n cheese as one of the dinner options and they said it would be $2 more, really for 2 spoonfuls of Mac n cheese? Not that impressed with the food this go around.

Under new management and service sucks. Never got our food. The waitress did not pay attention to the fact we sat for 45 minutes without our food. She kept saying it would be right out. She never checked on it. We walked out.

Normally I wouldn't waste words on the Australian answer to Sizzler, but this particular unit, located on the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, is a great place to stop for dinner. Service was much better, and the food was prepared and presented better than a lot of other Outbacks serving the sayme bloomin' mess. Crikey! It was fair dinkum!

Regular Outback customers throughout the US -- this facility was the worst we ever patronized. Bloomin onion was partially raw and breaded, steak was tasteless, crab topping was fishy and I received a half bowl of French onion soup and server was trying to explain it off as the bread and cheese sunk ( but tasted as good as always) as compensation got the other half (only) to take home in a styrofoam cup. Maybe they were having a bad day or I was!

This particular location is one of three test kitchens for Outback nationwide. Any new dish is served here first. Because of this, the food and service in this restaurant is much better than any other Outback you visit. We have never been big fans of Outback until we found the Plant City store and now we eat at this location any chance we get!

OK I know it's a chain...blah blah blah. This Outback has much better service than most others I have been to. I have maybe been here ten times total to have dinner with my father. I haven't been here in maybe a year, and the bartender still remembered my name, which awed me. They are just super helpful. If you want something that's not on the menu, they will find a way to make it happen. For instance, they used to have scallop skewers as an add on, but we wanted a scallop appetizer so they made it happen for us. They brought out the scallops sauteed in butter with some cherry tomatoes...very tasty. Also, they will still give us the honey butter with the bread when we ask. Most other Outbacks will say oh no, we don't have that anymore. Anyway, just a tip of my hat to the fine employees over at the Plant City Outback. Obviously I don't really have to comment on the food because it's decent and it's consistent.

We've been to this Outback four times since Dec 2009. Plant City is between where we and another couple live and we meet there every so often. Just like any other of the five or six Outbacks we've been to over the years, complete with the clunky booths (see picture). The food and service have been excellent on every occasion, and we look forward to returning!

I came here with my fiance and her family for dinner it was her 20th birthday. This restaurant is kinda tucked away off the road. Once we got it they seated us in a few minutes they had to clean a table off for us. Once we sat down our waitress to our drinks and then came back for our food. We all got the create you own steak except for her brother who got a burger. The steaks where great, nice and juicy and great taste the wood grilled steak was really good its definitely a different taste from a normal steak. We also got a blooming onion and of course that was good. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone else. The waitress paid very close attention because all we did was mention it was my fiance's birthday and at the end they came out and sang her happy birthday and gave her a dessert. We didn't have to tell them they just came out and did it on there own. Like I said great place to eat.
